In a slightly lighter mood, I'm excited about the fundraiser for Tinworth. I haven't seen Abraxans racing in years. I used to want to ride them, but I've never done that. Maybe I can kidnap one of them on that day. I'll at least be taking pictures, barring the possibility for animal thievery. They really are beautiful creatures. [30 Jun 2011|07:23pm] This is a rather belated apology, but I was a bit embarrassed about it before. So here it is now. I'm sorry if I yelled at you at the carnival about the length of your skirt or trousers. That was the orb thing's fault. Overall, people looked quite nice in summer clothing! Not universally, no, and I didn't feel badly yelling at all of you. (I mean really, orange is never okay, especially not when paired with green. You looked like a pumpkin, whoever you were. A really ugly, fat pumpkin, congratulations.) But for the most part it was undeserved, and for the record, I of all people do not especially care if you're wearing short or long pants or skirts. As long as I don't have to look if it's especially ugly. If it makes you feel any better, I spent a good deal of that day yelling at myself. [13 Jun 2011|09:53pm] I love the beginning of summer a lot. It's finally warm enough to do things outdoors. I don't think I've been inside for more than a few hours every day throughout the last week, which means I've been sunburned for days. It's all right though. I'd say it's worth it. I'll just have to start running before work instead of after it when the sun isn't so high. I don't want to look absolutely brown by the end of this summer. But I suppose there are worse things. [27 May 2011|11:41pm] Is everyone all right after yesterday? I took some quite exciting photographs before my camera was almost broken. I put it away after that. But I got a picture of the rhinoceros, and Richard Pucey's new gender. Other than that it was hard to hold the thing at eye-level without falling over entirely. I didn't get hurt though. Not s very badly, anyway. I think I ended up punching someone at some point, so if that was you, I apologise, you smelled like old onions and chips and you were in my way. I tried to use this as an excuse to get out of work today, but they didn't buy "war trauma" and I ended up editing photographs all day anyway. It's not quite as thrilling as you might assume. [Lottie and Addie] Hello. Are you all right, Addie? Do you feel better? I just thought I'd offer to come over a few hours early to help with cooking tomorrow if you weren't. Between Lots and I we could make something up. I don't actually cook very much, but I'm good at soup. And I'm a genius at ordering takeaway if it comes to that. [Tavvy] Thank Merlin you're safe at Hogwarts. I don't envy you, I remember this time last year. How are you holding up? I can't wait til you graduate, we've got loads to catch up on.
